Access tokens
Create, use and revoke personal tokens.
You only need access tokens for clients without a sign-in dialog. For Claude and ChatGPT, OAuth is enough.
Create a token
- SettingsMCPAccess tokens
- Enter a Name (e.g. "Cursor laptop") and choose Expires: 30 days, 90 days (default) or 1 year.
- Click Create token and copy the token right away.
The token starts with zw_pat_ and is shown only once. Zahlenwerk stores only a hash; we can't recover a lost token. Create a new one instead.
Rules
- A token has exactly your permissions, never more.
- At most 10 active tokens per person.
- There is no token without an expiry date.
Revoke
On the same page, click Revoke next to the token. It stops working immediately. Revoke tokens from devices you no longer use, and when someone leaves the team.
