Managing teams
Create, switch, transfer, archive and delete teams.
Create a team
- When you first sign in: the Create a team card; enter a team name, accept the agreements, Create team.
- More teams: SettingsYour teamsCreate another team.
Zahlenwerk approves new teams. Until then you see Your team is awaiting approval.
Switch teams
Click the team name at the top of the sidebar and choose Switch team. If you open a link that belongs to another of your teams, Zahlenwerk asks whether you want to switch.
Transfer ownership
Under SettingsGeneral (team)Owner zone the owner clicks Transfer ownership… and confirms. The previous owner becomes a Team Admin. The transfer also works when all seats are taken.
Archive and delete
- Archive team… in the owner zone archives the team. It is then hidden for all members.
- Under SettingsYour teamsArchived the owner can choose Restore or Delete forever…. To delete, the owner types the exact team name.
Deleting is permanent
Deleting removes all of the team's data irreversibly. While retention periods are running for an ended contract, deletion is blocked.
Delete your own account
SettingsGeneralDanger zoneDelete account. To confirm, type delete my account (in the German interface mein Konto löschen).
Deletion is refused while you are the owner of a team. Transfer ownership first.
